A beautiful sunset (we have actually had several of these).

Reflections...

I love the sight of the large round hay bales in our field. And mist rising after a rain.

This wasn't from this week, but I love it. Good light, pretty girl, and Kentucky scenery. Cannot possibly go wrong!

Bethany

I realized I had not given an update on Beth.

There have been no further breathing problems.

She is speaking in full sentences, and has potty trained herself.

She even gets herself dressed. Ahem.

With all that, we are figuring that whatever was causing her to stop breathing has been resolved, and she is healed.

We greatly appreciated your prayers.

Hummingbirds

My little friends are back on my porch. All is well in the world.

There are about 4 of them all the time... all day long.

The other day after a shower, there were probably 15.

I expect to get more photos of them as the summer goes on.

Sam - 9 Months

I haven't put a photo of Sam up recently... he is changing so much! He will be 10 months on the 11th.

It hardly seems real that he is that old already, but the fact that he is crawling all over the place makes it true.

He is so very sweet, and good as gold. We never hear a peep out of him, and besides his penchant for grabbing and smearing my glasses, he never gives us any trouble.

He has the best grin, and is not afraid to use it.

And those blue, blue eyes... I never get tired of looking at those eyes.

A Bug's Life...

I have been busy researching how to get good fireworks photos in preparation for this coming weekend... should be some great time for learning some new tricks and hopefully getting some good shots.

Meanwhile, this little guy came to visit yesterday.

I like visitors, don't get me wrong. But with legs like this...

And lips like these...

I wasn't sad to see him head to greener pastures.
