I Samuel 3:10 And the Lord came and stood, calling as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant hears.”
Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had set his heart to study the Law of the Lord, and to do it and to teach his statutes and rules in Israel.
Nathan is thrilled to finally have the boy baby he's been waiting for through two younger sisters. And while everyone besides Nate is likely a bit shocked, remember that God is not a bit surprised - and rest well in that thought.
Good night,
-Eric

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Carri, and Welcome Sweet Samuel! ♥
ReplyDeleteI came over from Amy's blog.
ReplyDeleteMy son is now nineteen and all the way through my high risk pregnancy (he was our surprise mid-life child), my doctor said the ultra sound indicated a girl.
While we would have been thrilled with a healthy baby, we had a daughter who was almost twelve. I knew my hubby was just a tiny bit disappointed as he wanted to carry on the family name and all that.
When our son was born by a planned C-section, no one was more surprised and pleased than his mommy and daddy. The nurse told me later some babies are in odd positions in the womb which make fool the ultra sound (albeit, the machines have become much better since then).
Your little one is such a blessing.
Congratulations on a beautiful baby boy! Your sonogram story is exactly the reason we use to "be surprised." :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! What a beautiful name!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all of you! How wonderful to have another son! I'm sure he's just as precious as he looks! So happy for your family!
