51/365 - Sad Seedling

Isn't that the most adorable little seedling ever?

I am so glad I got photos the night I did, because the next morning when I got up... it was GONE. Not sure where. Not sure why... but it's gone. Isn't that sad?

Nate's learning to read and write. His favorite recipient is his big brother Matt who is going to school in Missouri.

49/365 - Syrup Making with Friends

It was a beautiful day for a walk. The sky was blue and the grass just starting to turn green again after sleeping all winter. And little sisters just LOVE having strong big brothers to give them a ride when little legs tire out.

Our friends started big time into making syrup this year. They tapped about 20 trees... running the hose downhill to have gravity aid in getting the syrup to the 450 gallon bucket.
