It was a beautiful day for a walk. The sky was blue and the grass just starting to turn green again after sleeping all winter. And little sisters just LOVE having strong big brothers to give them a ride when little legs tire out.
Our friends started big time into making syrup this year. They tapped about 20 trees... running the hose downhill to have gravity aid in getting the syrup to the 450 gallon bucket.
After a taste, Nathan decided that the sap tastes just like water. I wonder who decided to boil it down to make such yummy syrup?
We love these friends of ours...
