Today was Mercy's day to go to Dr. Adam's office in Cinci. As expected, all is going well. The propranalol has done it's work, and they believe the hemangioma has shrunk as much as it is going to. We are thrilled at how wonderful she looks, and acts.
The area of the hemangioma is still warm, which indicated that the hemangioma is still active, so they continue to wait for it all to regress before doing any of the surgeries. We are fine with that.
Instead of increasing the dosages, they will continue to let her grow out of the current dosage and see how the hemangioma responds. She has gained 2 Kg in the past 2 months!!! Wahoo!
We also get to stop one of the three medicines she is on.
And the best news is that once again we don't have to return for 2 months... at which time we will see both eye doctors, the cardiologist, and of course... Dr. Adams and Nurse Carol.
I am thrilled to make this incredibly boring update on our precious little Mercy Noelle.
