We have had 3 birthdays, traveled from Whoville to Pennsylvania, to the greater DC area, to Virginia, and back, pulled a million weeds, ordered school, picked a ton of tomatoes, and cleaned a billion messes.
Hence the silence. Sorry to anyone in withdrawal from photos. Not mentioning any names, G.T. ;)
This blog will resume it's regularly scheduled programming as soon as all the suitcases are unpacked.
And I manage to get a shower. Not necessarily in that order.

Kentucky Life
Random photos on my camera this week...
A beautiful sunset (we have actually had several of these).
Reflections...
I love the sight of the large round hay bales in our field. And mist rising after a rain.

Bethany
I realized I had not given an update on Beth.
There have been no further breathing problems.
She is speaking in full sentences, and has potty trained herself.
She even gets herself dressed. Ahem.

Hummingbirds
My little friends are back on my porch. All is well in the world.
There are about 4 of them all the time... all day long.
The other day after a shower, there were probably 15.
I expect to get more photos of them as the summer goes on.

Sam - 9 Months
I haven't put a photo of Sam up recently... he is changing so much! He will be 10 months on the 11th.
It hardly seems real that he is that old already, but the fact that he is crawling all over the place makes it true.
He is so very sweet, and good as gold. We never hear a peep out of him, and besides his penchant for grabbing and smearing my glasses, he never gives us any trouble.
He has the best grin, and is not afraid to use it.
And those blue, blue eyes... I never get tired of looking at those eyes.

A Bug's Life...
I have been busy researching how to get good fireworks photos in preparation for this coming weekend... should be some great time for learning some new tricks and hopefully getting some good shots.
Meanwhile, this little guy came to visit yesterday.
I like visitors, don't get me wrong. But with legs like this...
And lips like these...
