Mercy's Progress on Propranalol

We have been seriously busy with the plague the past week or so, but yesterday we had a moment to breathe and noticed that MERCY'S HEMANGIOMA LOOKS GREAT! This is amazing since she only had 9 doses (3 days) then we needed to stop them due to her getting rotovirus at the hospital. BUT THE HEMANGIOMA CONTINUES TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!!! Here are photos from March 3 - the day before we started the propranalol.

And this was last night:

Can you just imagine how excited we are?!?! This morning it even looks flatter than these photos... wow. I'll keep everyone posted

  19. I found your blog about a week ago and have been catching up on Mercy's story.

My son was born just over 2 years ago with liver disease and has since had a transplant, so I am familiar with the 'medical world'. (More than I ever thought I would be!) (Interestingly, he had a small (just a bit larger than a quarter) hemangioma on the very top of his head.)

All that to say, I think Mercy is beautiful, and so is her story. The way God worked through the insurance company was amazing! Isn't He good? :) Also amazing are these pictures of the improvements she has made on the treatment so far. We will be praying that everyone can get (and stay!) well so the treatments can continue.

  27. This looks like such a rapid improvement! I have had cavernous hemangenomas my whole life. Luckily they didn't encroach into any major systems so I have been able to live with it. But I have more and more pain from them. Do you mind emailing me so I can get some advice? I had embolizations and they were quite painful. That was 4 years ago. Now I need to finish and I was wondering what else was out there. Thanks in Advance, Jackie
